Overview: Flood-related destruction has been recognized across the region, notably affecting the Department’s significant assets and necessitating their rehabilitation.
Works include:
BPS were engaged to deliver engineering surveys on major structures such as bridges and roads, identifying the extent of flood damage; the preparation of extensive and detailed engineering plans have enabled the Department to schedule appropriate remediation and repair works, such as reinstatement of batter protection, and works to repair/rebuild gabion baskets, as required.
